Over the past few months we have been asked a few times what we think of Tai Lopez and the training that he offers. There are currently many videos and articles offering many different verdicts on whether or not Tai Lopez is a scam artist, fraud or genuine person. Today we are going to offer an opinion on the subject and hopefully help a few of you out with some answers to common questions.
The 67 Steps to success
If you are not aware of Tai Lopez and his 67 step program, then a quick search on YouTube will give you no shortage of information. For those of you that don’t know, Tai is an online entrepreneur, author, speaker and self-made millionaire who has a ton of information online. Whilst a lot of the information is free of cost, Tai also hosts various paid options where he will coach you for a fee.
Whilst there are some people that say that Tai has helped them to transform their lives, there are others that say otherwise. Common complains state that Tai Lopez is a scam artist, generally due to the fact that they are having problems cancelling a monthly subscription or that they want their money back as the program that they invested in wasn’t what they expected.
There is no shortage of people that state that the 67 step program created by Tai “doesn’t work” and that a lot of what Tai does and says is fake. The list of complaints goes on, but then on the flip side of this there are also lots of people that speak very highly of Tai Lopez. So what’s the real truth? Is there any truth behind the Tai Lopez fraud and scam accusations online, or is there more to this story than meets the eye?
This is my opinion – You can have yours too!
Please remember that what you read here is simply my opinion! You are highly encouraged to share your own personal thoughts and experiences within the comments section of this post. I always respond to each and every comment that I get on this blog, so please do join in the conversation and share any experiences that you have had with either Tai Lopez or any of his products.
The following are just a few of the complaints that we read about and were asked about here at MMOZ. I hope that the following helps a few of you out, but if you have a further question or point of view then just drop us a comment in the comments section and we will add more content to this article as necessary.
How to cancel Tai Lopez membership or VIP upgrade.
There are lots of complains online about not being able to cancel a monthly subscription to one of the products sold by Tai Lopez. This one complaint alone has led to many online claims that the products offered are nothing but scams or that Tai is deliberately ignoring requests for refunds or cancellations. Although it might not be the case in every scenario, we have found several cases where cancellations had been requested incorrectly.
The 67 step program offered by Tai Lopez is actually sold through a company called Clickbank. Clickbank are an incredibly trustworthy payment processor and world class leaders in the distribution and sale of digital products. Although some people will naturally assume that you would simply need to send an email directly to the product website to cancel your membership or get a refund, this is not always the case!
If you want to get a refund or cancel your membership to the 67 steps or any of the VIP upgrades, you need to contact Clickbank directly for the fastest results. The support email addresses found within these training websites are generally used for people who are experiencing technical difficulties rather than refunds and cancellations. By rights, if you contact a support email address then they should direct you in how to go about cancelling your subscription or getting your money back if that’s what you want to do. However there is a much easier way to cancel your membership or get a refund if you are still within 60 days.
Clickbank offer a full 60 day refund policy on every product that they sell. The 67 steps and all of the upgrades, including the VIP memberships are all covered by Clickbank. To cancel your membership at any time, all you need to do is visit the Clickbank website and follow the directions. If you are still within your first 60 days of purchase you can get a refund, if not you can simply cancel your membership. The process is extremely simple and all you will need is some kind of proof of purchase, either use the order number from the email that you received, your PayPal email address or credit card details.
I purchased the 67 Steps by Tai Lopez but didn’t receive it.
Whilst searching online, I found a couple of complaints from people saying that they had paid their money but hadn’t received the product. Again this has led to a lot of people jumping in with claims that a scam is going on! I know from personal experience that from time to time things can go wrong online with digital products. It doesn’t matter if you are a small one man business owner, running a small website or a multi-million dollar business. Things can and will go wrong! Does it mean that there is scam going on? No. Does it mean that Tai Lopez is a fraud? No. Yes it can be very annoying and you might be forgiven for thinking that something dodgy is going on, however this is not the case most of the time.
If you are in this situation, there is a very simple process that will very quickly resolve your issue.
As I already stated, the 67 step program is officially sold via Clickbank. If you paid your money to join this membership and didn’t receive a welcome email or a receipt from Clickbank confirming your purchase, chances are there has simply been a glitch. And again, the best way to resolve the issue is not by emailing Tai Lopez directly but to go through Clickbank.
Clickbank will simply need your payment details and your issue will be resolved very quickly. I have had personal experience with Clickbank and they have an extremely good customer service team who will help you out with any issues.
Tai Lopez is a fraud!
If you are searching for information about Tai Lopez then you will find tons of it online. There is certainly no shortage for arguments on both sides as to whether or not Tai Lopez is a scam artist or a fraud. There have been articles and videos made by people claiming to debunk Tai Lopez and his system, there is even a video entitled the Tai Lopez conspiracy!
So what’s the problem here? Well, there are lots of people out there that claim that Tai Lopez is actually pretty fake. They say that he uses rented houses and vehicles within his sales videos to make the videos more appealing. Is there any truth in these claims? Well, yes there is.
It’s a fact that within some of the videos that you see Tai Lopez appearing in, he is actually using rented houses and cars to make his videos more appealing to the public. This is simply a marketing technique that has been used countless times over the years on many different products and not only by Tai Lopez. If you think that everything you see online is “real” then think again!
The truth of the matter is that this guy sells self-help training programs as well as other things that make a lot of money. In order to make you want to buy the 67 step program or anything else, the sales videos have to look appealing otherwise it wouldn’t sell. Tai Lopez does give the impression that he owns massive houses and drives around in Lamborghinis and yes it has been proven that these are rented on a short term basis. This might be taken by some people as misleading but it’s a fact that this kind of thing is happening all around us, every single day.
Tai Lopez is a multi-millionaire because he is obviously very good at what he does. The fact that he rents a few houses and cars for his sales videos is actually normal practice. Would you go on video showing your actual house and car if you were a multi-millionaire? I know I wouldn’t.
Tai Lopez is a scam artist!
There are lots of people online that say that Tai Lopez is a scam artist. There are also tons of people that say that they have been helped immensely by this guy’s training courses. It all depends on what you class as a scam and what you consider to be useful information. I have seen tons of scams during my time on the internet, you can read about many of them here on this website. In my opinion, a scam is when money is taken from you unwillingly, you pay for something and get nothing in return or you purchase something and get a very low quality product. This is not the case here!
The 67 step program as mentioned above is covered by Clickbank’s policies and therefore cannot be classed as a scam in terms of stealing your money. You can get a refund within 60 days for any reason what so ever, which is pretty good.
Everybody is different and whilst some people will learn a lot from Tai Lopez, others won’t. It’s a fact that Tai is very good at talking the talk and is very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects. Some people will be able to take the information on board and find it useful whilst others will think that it’s a load of rubbish. Does it mean that everything that Tai Lopez produces is out to scam you? No.
Tai Lopez 67 steps – Does it work?
Another complaint that I found whilst researching this article was that the 67 steps by Tai Lopez didn’t work. Now this isn’t a 67 steps review so I’m not going to go into the pro’s and con’s of this training program too much here. However, you need to be clear about what you are buying when you invest into a training course like the 67 steps by Tai Lopez.
The 67 Step course comes under the “self-help” category of training programs and there is a good reason for this. The clue is within the title category itself “self-help”! I see lots of people claiming that this training “didn’t work” and that they are still not wealthy or living the perfect life. However, every time that I read about someone complaining about this training course, there was no mention about the action that they took to make things happen.
I see this kind of thing time and time again. Some people buy training courses expecting them to miraculously transform their lives, but are not willing to put in any effort on their part. If you are not willing to put any of the steps into practice, then of course the system won’t work.
It doesn’t matter if it’s Tai Lopez or anyone else showing you how to make money or live the perfect life, in the end it’s down to you to make things happen. If you go through the training and try out some of the suggestions and then decide it’s not for you, then at least you’ve given it a shot.
Tai Lopez – Fraud or Scam artist? My opinion
In my opinion I think Tai Lopez is a very good marketer and probably has a lot of people helping him. I think a lot of what this guy says makes a lot of sense but I also understand why some people continue to complain. There are a lot of videos by Tai Lopez and some of which are quite obviously geared towards getting you involved with the program. This might annoy some people but at the end of the day you do have a choice as to whether or not you watch!
The fact of the matter is that Tai Lopez and his team are very good at marketing and they obviously have a large budget to play with. You will find tons of videos and articles written about Tai Lopez and his products which only serve to further fuel the hype. The reason that there is so much information online is all due to marketing and it’s the very reason that the 67 steps course has sold so well online.
Is Tai Lopez a victim of his own success?
It’s probably due to the huge amount of people that have purchased this course that Tai Lopez has suffered such a mixed bag of publicity. As we have already said, no one training course will ever suite everyone. But that in my opinion doesn’t make a scam.
I think at worst you could say that Tai Lopez is a little misleading with his sales videos for reasons that we have gone over here. However, I really don’t see this as being such a big deal and I for one don’t really care if he rents a house, car or boat to shoot his next video from.
What can we learn from Tai?
Tai Lopez offers a lot of free information on YouTube and although some of it is obviously going to promote paid products, there is still a lot of information that we can take away at zero cost. Tai states a few times within his videos that knowledge is often the foundation to success and I believe this to be true. Whilst you could quite easily read the first thing that you find online and go away believing that Tai Lopez is just out to scam you. I think that this article has proven that with a little research you can often find that there is sometimes more than one side to every story.
Personally I believe that you can learn a lot from Tai Lopez from his free content alone. If you decide to invest your money into the paid options that Tai presents to you then you should be clear about what you are buying into.
Only you can create your perfect lifestyle
The 67 Steps training is a self-help guide, designed to motivate and inspire you to take action within your life. It won’t change your life or make you more money unless you take action. Only you can alter the things in your life and only you can make things better. Perhaps Tai Lopez might be able to point you in the right direction, he might even transform your life with his course.
You should remember that Tai Lopez has made a lot of his money by writing, producing training courses and investing his money. This is how he has changed his life and although Tai can show you and tell you the techniques and mind set he used to get where he is today, you will still need to find your own way forward.
What’s your experience?
