Welcome to MMOZ! Today I wanted to post a response to an article that I read a short time ago. The article was published by the Daily Star, a very well known newspaper in the UK. The article covered several fast ways of making money online.
These days many people are searching for quick and easy ways to make extra income. So guides like the one published by the Daily Star are often very useful. However, I felt it necessary to post a response to this article as there are both pros and cons to many of the methods explained.
In this post I’m going to go over some of the money making methods published by the Daily Star and give you my point of view. Here at the Make Money Online Zone, we receive many emails and comments regarding a lot of the techniques mentioned in the Daily Star article. So the information here will be based on the experience of myself and other people that have tried these methods.
I must point out that this is NOT a dig at the Daily Star! This post is simply an extension of the original post, offering a genuine opinion.
Easy Ways To Earn Cash Quickly – By The Daily Star
The article that we are talking about today is actually based on information by the Money Saving Expert website. Although a lot of the information might be quite useful, some of it also might be a little misleading and frustrating.
You can read the original Daily Star article here: “Seven Easy Ways To Earn Cash Quickly”.
The Truth About Earning Money Online (quickly)
When we talk about earning money quickly, most of us would expect that to mean within a day or two. The truth is, making money online is never as fast as you might hope. The article that we are examining today talks about making money by performing various simple tasks. The downside to most of these “mini jobs” is that they take time to complete and in many cases they also take quite a bit of time to pay out.
Lets take a look at some of the examples given in the Daily Star article…
Get Paid To Watch Videos And Play Games
To many people the idea of getting paid for watching videos or playing games might seem like a dream come true. And there are many websites out there that claim to offer just that. However, in our experience the end results can be very different from what is advertised. In fact we have yet to find a really good site that offers this service.
In the articles published by the Daily Star and Money Saving Expert, a couple of sites were mentioned that we have had experience with. Swagbucks and GiftHulk claim to pay out in gift cards after completing simple tasks. However, it would seem that a lot of people have had a negative experience with these companies.
We recently wrote a GiftHulk review where we published some of the complaints that many people have experienced. It would seem that GiftHulk was indeed a good service at one point, but right now the complaints are coming in thick and fast!
And Swagbucks is very similar in comparison, with a steady flow of complains. What we found with Swagbucks is that there are lots of people talking about unethical practices. It would seem that after completing lots of mini tasks for Swagbucks, many peoples accounts are being closed down. Is this simply a way to get out of paying their members? Many people think that is the case.
So as you can see, making money with Swagbucks and GiftHulk might not be as plain sailing as you might hope! However, we must point out that there are still a few people who claim to have a good experience with these companies. If you have had any experience with Swagbucks or GiftHulk, please leave us a comment at the bottom of this page.
Win Prizes And Cash!
Although this method is only briefly mentioned in the Daily Star article, its worth mentioning. The idea here is to enter lots of competitions in order to win prizes and cash. Whilst its a fact that some people do this for a hobby and some claim to have great results.
When you consider the amount of competitions that you would need to enter and then the time it would take to receive your prize, this can’t really be classed as a fast earner! But something that you might like to try in your spare time.
Filling In Online Surveys
Completing online surveys is a method that many people go to as a simple way to make money online. Whilst there are some benefits to filling out surveys, there are also some things that you need to be aware of. Filling in online surveys might seem like an easy way to make money quickly, but the reality is often very different.
Here at MMOZ we have reviewed many online survey websites. Unfortunately, the majority of survey websites are complete scams. Whilst there are a few exceptions to the rule, even the best of these sites are renown for taking up a lot of your time, whilst paying very little. Yes, there are a few websites that claim you can earn big bucks by taking online surveys but the truth is often very different.
There are lots of survey companies out there that will let you do all the work and then refuse to pay you. A common scam with a lot of these sites is to have “qualifying questions”. You spend 10 or 15 minutes filling out a pre-qualifying survey, only to be told that you are not eligible in the end.
The very best survey sites that actually pay will make you work for every penny. We recently reviewed a survey website that was completely genuine, but paid around 20 cents per hour! Not so great if you want to make money online quickly. Most of these companies have a minimum payment threshold that can take a very long time to reach.
Sell Your Unwanted Items
This one is a bit of a no-brainer in my opinion. Sites like Ebay and Facebook offer a great service where you can indeed make some great money by selling you unwanted items. But of course this method has a very limited shelf-life, depending on how much stuff you have to get rid of! You could of course sell things that you create, such as arts and crafts. Getting paid is generally pretty quick with Ebay but even faster if you opt for selling on Facebook. You can even ask for cash on collection.
The downside to selling your stuff online is of course that you are eventually going to run out of things to sell. Whilst there are ways around this, it isn’t really a long term plan if that’s what you are looking for.
Are There Any Easy Ways To Earn Cash Quickly?
If you take a look at the original articles posted by Money Saving expert and The Daily Star, you will see that they both offer some good advice. We have outlined some of the negative aspects of trying to make fast cash. But are there any easy ways to earn cash quickly?
In my opinion, if you are looking to make money quickly (within the same day), you are best off trying to sell your own stuff on sites like Facebook. Earning money by completing online tasks is hardly ever as simple as it sounds! There are tons of scams out there that will make the process sound easy, when in fact it really isn’t.
So what do I recommend?
My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online
Like most good things in life, my top recommendation for making money online takes a bit of time. This method can’t be classed as a fast way to make money online initially, but the process will get quicker as you progress. The technique that I am referring to was mentioned in the Money Saving Expert article as mentioned at the start of this post. I’m taking about getting paid for creating online content.
The Internets most valuable asset is the content that it holds. Millions of people perform online searches every single day, looking for reviews, opinions and advice on just about any subject that you can think of. But did you know that you can make good money from sharing your thoughts? No, I’m not talking about online survey sites! This method is very different…
I recommend you take a look at a website called Wealthy Affiliate. You can learn more about the site at our Wealthy Affiliate review page. This opportunity is completely genuine. Although the set-up process will take some time, there are several ways that you can earn money on a regular, daily basis.
